Rebuilt 82-85 1.6 Turbo Diesel Injector Pump. All the seals have been replaced, and the feed pump pressure and the output pressure has been tested to make sure the pump is within spec. Anything that was bad internally is replaced.
The pump is tested on a test stand where the idle is set and the output of the pump is flow matched for all the cylinders. The price includes a $150 core charge. I need the same kind of pump back that you order. This means that if you order a turbo pump, I need a turbo pump back. In March 2009 I set up a VW 1.6 diesel engine in my shop to further test (after the calibration) all outgoing injector pumps. So this pump has been tested on a running engine to ensure 100% quality. This pump has already been installed and run on a real VW 1.6 diesel engine, so you can be 100% sure that the pump will work 100% right out of the box.
